California accounted for one in every six new jobs created across the United States through July 2026, according to data highlighted by the California Governor’s Office.
The state reported job gains across several sectors, including clean energy, manufacturing, health care and logistics.
The Governor’s Office said California has continued to record strong employment growth and wage gains, describing the state as a major driver of the U.S. economy.
California remains the fourth-largest economy in the world, according to the state administration.
